Still adjusting

I was telling a friend that I have to keep reminding myself that we own this house. I will think of something I want to do and then remember that I can do anything I want because we own the house. Woo Hoo!!! It’s weird. I never in a million years thought I would own a house. Seriously. I was a real estate appraiser for 10 years but had little desire to own a house. I actually came close to buying a couple of times but backed out at the last minute because I really did not want to own a house. So when the fever to own took hold of me and I decided I wanted a house, I think I was more shocked then anyone. Me own a house???? Really??? And I’m really enjoying owning….It’s very cool… Of course now we have all the responsibility of owning. If something goes wrong there’s no one but us to take care of it. That’s a drag. I hate being responsible. I prefer to have someone else in charge. That’s how come I prefer employment over owning my own business. I owned my own business for 5 years and I hated being responsible…..Hated it….Now I have a whole lot of responsibility…… Yea me!!!
