For years I colored my hair. My own color was a bit of a mousy brown so for years I made it all kinds of colors; blonde, red, black, even purple once. But for the past few years I haven’t been as good about coloring. First I just don’t seem to have the time. It takes a good chunk out of your day to color, whether you do it yourself or have someone do it for you. Then there’s the expense, if you do it yourself it’s pretty reasonable but really, you get what you pay for. If I have someone do it I’m looking at $75 a pop. Finally there is my hair. My hair seems to be growing at a faster rate then it used to. When I color I notice roots in about 3-4 weeks. And since most of my hair is turning gray, they stick out and are very noticeable. I haven’t colored it for about 6 months now and it is really gray all over. Yikes!!!
My skin is also changing. It’s getting thinner and drier and harder to take care of. I was reading a skin id review and am thinking of checking into it. My skin can use all the help it can get. Okay, enough wallowing in self pity. Getting older may suck completely but the alternative is completely unacceptable.

Aging does suck but all we can do is try to age as gracefully as we can. My dad said he felt like an old car falling apart little by little.
