I’ve been doing Entrecard for a while now and I have a couple thoughts about it. When I first started I just dropped cards. I didn’t necessarily stay to read any posts, I just dropped and moved on. Gradually over time I found blogs that I liked through Entrecard. I developed a bookmark list of blogs that I like on Entrecard. I go try to drop everyday (don’t always have time for that) but more important, I’m stopping and reading the blogs. I think that’s the goal of Entrecard. Sure at first you drop and go, but eventually you’ll find a post that catches your attention, then you’re reading regularly, then you’re commenting, that ‘s a good thing.
I find it interesting that I put Entrecard on 2 of my blogs. This one is almost a year old and a brand new one. It has definitely increased the traffic here and has really boosted my new blog. I really like Entrecard and think it’s a great thing. Hubby thinks it’s pretty cool too. Not as cool as some new Callaway golf clubs, but cool.

I am also liking Entrecard. It’s boosted my traffic. However, it also drains a lot of my time when I go around dropping.
And I like to read some of the blogs, too.

I agree with both of you. Entrecard is a great system and is helping my blog to grow. BUT, a a new set of
Calloway sticks is even better, almost as good as a top of the line G Loomis Rod and Shimano’s best bait caster. Blessings.

I have to say I agree with you about Entrecard. I’ve been doing it for a few weeks and at first I dropped merely to get points built up to use on advertising my advert but then I started reading many of the sites I drop on and now I’m finding it difficult at best to not spend the entire day dropping (and reading). I’m grateful to be retired because if I wasn’t, there wouldn’t be time for much of anything in my lfie
LOL
What EntreCard does is introduce people to a wide variety of blogs that they may otherwise never come in contact with. I just need to find a methodology of dropping and reading that seriously isn’t going to take 8+ hours a day.
