if you don’t watch what you say. I came across a frequent read that was ranting about something, I don’t want to go into it as the subject is not important but what happened is. Now as I read this rant I thought it was a little out of line and a little elitist but if the person they are ranting about doesn’t read the blog it’s okay I guess. Then, looking through the comments, I noticed someone took exception to the rant. Apparently the commenter had done just this thing last weekend to the blogger and was pissed!! I don’t blame them, it was kind of a rotten thing to say. So this got me to thinking….
I rant frequently on all my blogs. I usually rant about some government or corporate thing so I’m not worried the W is going to read my blog and take exception to it. But once in a while I’ll rant about things on other blogs. Either I will link to the post that started the rant, usually if I agree with the post, or use a very generic situation so as not to make things worse, kind of like I’m doing now
If I have a specific gripe with a specific person I will name that person, link to that person, etc. But otherwise I try to keep it very general since I don’t want to start fights over the blogosphere. Anyway, I just read that and thought this friendship (if there was one) may be all over, was it worth it?? Blogging is like keeping a journal but you have to remember, it’s on-line and anyone, anywhere can read it.
Anyway, I have to go get ready for work. I’m all alone in the lab today and it should be fun. I should get a lot of stuff done. I just hope I don’t feel like I’m on a treadmill running back and forth taking care of customers

I agree with you that blogging can be dangerous because people tend write about every thing which anybody can read , so one has to be very careful before writing something which may hurt other feelings and he may take some sought of action.
