Crusing Blogs……

Lately I do a lot more crusing around different blogs. I have a huge amount that I read everyday. Another group that I drop Entrecards on and read if there’s a new post. A whole other group I look at once in a while for a variety of reasons. So, yeah, I do a lot of blog reading lately. There’s a couple of things I’ve noticed that I just have to say. Please, please, please, don’t have music that comes on when the page is loaded. This does a number of things that make me crazy. First, it takes longer for your page to load if there is music. There is no way to make me lose interest faster than to take too long too load. Second, if I haven’t checked my speakers it can blast me out of my chair. It can also set off my bird and my dogs. Very, very annoying. Third, and most important, just because you like the song doesn’t mean everyone (or anyone else) does. While I am very varied in my musical tastes, I hate any music that is forced on me against my will. There are bars and restaurants I won’t go to because I don’t like the type of music they play or they play it too loud. Yes, I know I’m picky and I’m getting old and grumpy but that’s how I feel and I know I can’t be the only one. If I keep running across blogs with music I’m going to need some drug rehabilitation because I’m going to start taking something.
