This week’s theme is time and it was a tough one. I tried to come up with something unique and imaginative for time and just couldn’t do it. Finally, in going through my Flickr account, I found this picture and figured it would have to do this week:
What’s that?? You’re not sure what this has to do with time?? Well, it’s a timed race. I was trying to break a certain time, which I didn’t. I was doing this race for the 12th time. But more importantly is the timing clock at the finish line:
And there you have my entry for time. If you’re a runner you’ll note the time, 2:14 and no doubt wonder how far it was. Well, it was an 8.3 mile race and due to a nagging problem I ended up walking most of the way. If I had tried to push through and run the entire way I would have really put my medical insurance to the test

We have the Peachtree Road Race here. In years past, I went and cheered them on! Very exciting! Now I lie in bed with my kitty-cats and watch it on TV.
